The Story
This year will be the fifth annual Souls of Change Blue Wolf Tournament! While COVID-19 did prevent us from hosting the event last year, nothing will stop us this year!
There will be 6 teams each with 8 players, boys aged 12 - 14 years. These kids will play in matches over 2 weeks to find the winning team! Previous players have said how much they loved participating because they were able to showcase their abilities in the presence of the public!
However, the tournament is so much more than this.
Not only does it bring a great deal of joy to the children taking part, but it introduces them to the concepts of team-work, discipline and commitment that come with organised sport. These are vital for all children to learn as they develop mentally and socially into amazing young adults. These skills can also help them to break the cycle of poverty, violence and inequality their families often experience, as it gives them greater employability.
Supporting this cause means supporting more than a game, you are supporting these kids as they grow into incredible people.
Your donations will help pay for the jerseys, boots and socks of all 48 boys, the prizes for the winning team, the security at the events and the logistics of carrying out an organised sporting event in the midst of a pandemic.

We thank you for putting laughter to the children's face and their parents! some of their parent cannot afford to buy boot for their children because of the state of our economy, they were happy seeing their children bringing boots and jerseys home. They call me to pray and show appreciation to the organisers. May the almighty God continue to take you higher in all area of your life, may the windows of good opportunities will locate you. "I want to use this medium to say a big thank you to the organizers of Souls of Change (The Blue Wolf) thanks for the kits, thanks for the platform provided for our players to showcase their talents. Above all, my thanks goes to God Almighty for the good weather and the peaceable event held successfully. Thanks for the catchy awards that these kids will treasure for years. Big congrats to the eventual Champions "Star Light" And the runners up "Young Stars Vision" that fought gallantly & lost hounarably, I say bigger things awaits you. I have seen many finals in this tournament that have produced 4 goals or more. With brilliant goals to raise the excitement of the fans. However, this edition failed to produce a single goal but continually kept everyone in suspense with such intrigue and intensity that displayed complete football which caught everyone's interest. And no doubt, leaving them unable to predict exactly what will pan out eventually. All the players that won individual awards likewise deservedly did so. I just pray that, God will provide us with more people with such visions, so we can have a tournament of this kind more often. This will definitely help to promote the teams and players in Kosofe LGA and beyond in the near future. I say God bless you to all the team and Coaches that participated and the organizers (Body and everyone else that made this dream a reality.
